The 2011 New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament Date Announced!
The 2011 New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament will be held on June 17th and 18th at Cypress Cove Marina. The Captain's meeting and seafood boil will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 5:30pm. The awards ceremony, Calcutta presentation, and dinner will be held on Saturday night.

Fish the Ladies' on July 15th and 16th, 2011
The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club is pleased to co-host the 2011 Annual Ladies' Invitational Tournament on July 15th and 16th. This outstanding tournament has become the biggest event in downtown Venice, La and should exceed the 44 boats that participated in recent years.
The reception will begin on Thursday, July 14th at 5pm followed by the mandatory Captain's Meeting at 7pm. Hors d'oeurves and cocktails will be served at the Captain's Meeting along with a raffle. Lines in the water at 7am on July 15th with lines out at 4pm on July 16th, and scales closed at 6pm on the 16th. The Awards Ceremony with dinner and dance band will begin at 8pm on Saturday night. Get your team together now, because the best lady anglers will be in Venice soon!

The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club congratulates the Owners and Captains for 2009 Top 10 Boat Points. Tag and release and line bonus points are awarded for the eligible billfish and the top three heaviest Dolphin, Yellow Fin Tuna, and Wahoo caught aboard member vessels during club sponsored events.
