Fish the Ladies’ on July 18th and 19th

The New Orleans Big Game Fishing Club is pleased to co-host the Annual Ladies’ Invitational Tournament on July 18th and 19th in conjunction with the Baton Rouge Big Game Fishing Club and Mississippi Big Game Fishing Club. This outstanding tournament has become the biggest event in downtown Venice, La and should exceed the 54 boats that participated last year.

The reception will begin on Thursday, July 17th at 5pm followed by the mandatory Captain’s Meeting at 7pm. Hors d’oeurves and cocktails will be served at the Captain’s Meeting along with a raffle. Lines in the water at 7am on July 18th with lines out at 4pm on July 19th, and scales closed at 6pm on the 19th. The Awards Ceremony with dinner and dance band will begin at 8pm on Saturday night. Get your team together now, because the best lady anglers will be in Venice soon!

The 2008 New Orleans Invitational is Open for Business!

The 2008 New Orleans Invitational Billfish Tournament will be held on June 13th and 14th at Cypress Cove Marina. The Captain’s meeting and seafood boil will be held on Thursday, June 12th at 5:30pm. The awards ceremony, Calcutta presentation, and dinner will be held on Saturday night.
